Having always loved abstractions, I let my creative instincts and automatic reflexes guide me to combine forms and colors.
For the last year, I have been adding squirts and tangles of spasmodic strokes to my work to emphasise its random nature.
I like to rely on a contrasting dynamic that blends a desire for structure with gestural intuition.
I give life to compositions of vivid forms and colors that suggest a certain level of complexity and a link to abstract expressionism.
Conjoining gestural intuition to accident, I apply colors and create forms while keeping in mind a plastic coherence that transcends the beauty of nature through my subconscious.
I was born in Montréal, Québec. I currently reside in Coteau-du-Lac. I have studied business administration and plastic arts at l’UQAM. I have been a professional artist for the last ten years.
